Lady Gaga was last week in town for her “Monster Ball’ Tour, performing her mega-concert in the pack Yokohama Arena. However, what many didn’t know is that Ms. Germanotta also gave a private mini-concert in the heart of Tokyo. The event was presented by MAC Cosmetics, to promote her new Viva Glam lipstick. All the proceeds of the product will go to the MAC AIDS fund.

Unsurprisingly, Lady Gaga was dressed in a custom outfit designed to shock. Dressed from head to toe in a white lace bodysuit,  she was accompanied by male dancers only wearing briefs. Although Miss Gaga came almost an hour and a half late  and kept her fans waiting, all was forgiven when she began her (somewhat surreal, yet amazing) performance. She sang three songs: “Bad Romance”, “Speechless”, as well as her newest single, “Alejandro”. All in all, Lady Gaga put on the show you expect from the new ‘material girl’.

The first Pass the Baton store opened in a small space in Marunouchi’s Brick Square building last fall. Late april saw the opening of a new, much larger location in Ometesando Hills. It is a great place to find unique things new or used.

For Roppongi Art Night, museums and galleries around Roppongi, as well as several restaurants, stay open all night long so that people can enter and view the exhibitions at their leisure.

Over the weekend the stars gathered with Tokyo’s elite at the Audi Red Passion Party as Birkin’s three-day visit came to an end. Birkin said in her speech during the party, “I’d like to thank the Japanese for their kindness to me over the last 38 years. I absolutely love this country; the people here know me better than they know me in London. The affection I have for them, especially the women, is something very, very special.”

JGF was at the ADIDAS Original X Jeremy Scott party held at fashionable Omotesando, Tokyo.  We we were able to see the third season, Spring collection which was funky and sporty with that very special unique Jeremy Scott touch.

Many famous Djs like Dj Verbal were spinning that night.
