Japanese companies are known for coming up with cool and innovative ideas. They are definitely the guys to look to for new tech, fun toys, and wacky products. Well, the new company Ambie are right there with them. They have created something that is so different, we had to let you guys know about it.
These earbuds do not actually go in your ear like normal ones do. Ambie earcuffs are designed a little differently. The larger, round piece goes on the back of your ear and the curved piece wraps around to rest just outside your earhole. Finally, earbuds that will not hurt your ears!
If you like noise cancelling headphones, these are not for you. That is the opposite of what Ambie wanted to achieve here. They wanted to make headphones safer. These earcuffs do not go in the ear so there is less stress on the eardrum and they give pedestrians the ability to hear traffic and oncoming bikes or runners. Which is really nice. Please tell us we are not the only ones out there that have been scared by a biker because you didn’t hear them coming. It happens!
Another great thing about them is they give you the ability to listen to your music at stations or airports and still hear important announcements. This was a great idea and solve a lot of the problems with regular headphones so go check them out!
