Collaborations between big clothing companies and artist are always great. Artist can add more creativity to the design and make it different than the normal designs we see everyday. Wearing the same clothing that everyone else has can be boring. But you can bring out your own personality and individuality with unique pieces, like the ones find in this collaboration.

If you haven’t heard about it, this is a collaboration between one of the most successful Japanese clothing companies, Uniqlo, and the US born pop artist and designer known as Kaws.

Uniqlo is a Japanese casual wear company. They have been operating in Japan since 1984 and have become so successful that they now operate in another fourteen countries around the world. This company is known for selling unique casual wear for men, women, and children, so if you’ve never heard of them you should check them out.

Kaws started out as a graffiti artist then moved on to subvertising and finally to making unique sculptors and paintings. He is probably must well known for his “Companion” sculptors found in cities all over the world. Kaws’ “Companion” is a grayscale figure that resembles a clown. It’s clothing is based on Mickey Mouse and it’s face is normally covered by it’s hands. Another huge characteristic of Kaws’ work is characters having x’s for eyes. As is seen in the collaboration.

This Peanuts collaboration perfectly combines the style of the adorable characters with Kaws’ unique designs. It contains 26 items which include t-shirts, toys, tote bags, slippers, and more. There is something to be found for all ages. If you love Peanuts and want to own a Kaws piece, you should definitely check out this collaboration.

It will be available in the US on April 28th in stores and online. There are pictures of some of the pieces online now if you want to take a look. There is no date yet on when it will be released in Japan so keep an eye out for updates from Uniqlo so you don’t miss out.
