In July 2015, Nissan introduced a new car into the popular driving video game Gran Turismo 6. Designed by a London-based team from Nissan Design Europe, it was immediately a hit with gamers. In fact, it was so successful that a team of engineers at Nissan in Japan began to study it via technical valuations and various simulations. All of this led to an impressive life-sized 3D model called the Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Grand Turismo.
The model is currently on display at the company’s showroom in Ginza, Tokyo, where it attracts a constant stream of visitors eager to see its sleek lines in person. There’s no telling whether or not it will actually make it to production lines, but this is what Nissan has to say on the matter:
“It’s still just a concept, but concepts often do become reality. Stay tuned.”
