Owndays is one of Japan’s biggest eyewear companies, with shops all across Asia. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam, it has created a 1:7 scale RX-78-2 Gundam head model that doubles as a glasses case.
 
The case has compartments that open, close, and slide in and out to hold an assortment of frames. Owndays has also announced a series of accompanying stainless steel frames. Prices have not yet been confirmed, but the collection is due to hit stores in January 2020.
