MTG, the Japanese beauty device company behind bestsellers including the ReFa and Sixpad series, has released a new machine that claims to create sterilizing disinfectant from nothing more than tap water in as little as one minute. Because it’s made from water, the disinfectant is safe to be used on everything from furniture, electronics and clothing to kitchenware and pet goods. It is also ecological, saving many plastic bottles from landfills, and it costs only about 10 cents a year in electricity to operate.
